A little about me!
My name is Sam and I have been an animal lover since I learned to crawl. During a lifetime of cherished years owning three wonderful dogs it became clear that this was more than just a love, it was a passion; in 2017 I decided to take this passion to it's next logical step by making the care of dogs my livelihood and established Pooch Parade a year later to fully focus my professional life on the happiness and wellbeing of pooches on a larger scale. In my business of dog walking and pet sitting, I bring years of experience caring for dogs little and large, energetic and lazy, old and young to deliver a service with a genuine love and compassion at its core. I will ensure your pet has the best possible experience and can guarantee that any dog that is part of the Pooch Parade family has the best possible experience in a loving and safe environment. Keeping your pet safe
Your pets safety is always my number one priority and I have ensured that every facet of the business operates with your pets best interest and well being at the forefront. My car is fully equipped to give the dogs a comfortable and safe ride and on walks your dog will always have a custom pooch parade tag on them to give you that extra peace of mind.
First Aid Trained
I have attended a CPD recognised canine first aid course and renew this qualification every three years with a refresher course, you can rest easy that if anything did happen to your dog during a walk or home stay that i am equipped with knowledge and a first aid kit to best care for them in an emergency.

Cat Sitting

It is becoming increasingly popluar for cats and small animals to be looked after in your home while you are away becuase it is stress free for them! I can visit your home once or twice daily and even stay over night with your pet. During this time i will give them their meals, clean out any litter trays and spend some quality time giving cuddles, grooming and playing with your pet. Prices start from only £10.

My most popular service! Unfortunately I am no longer taking on solo walking clients. I mainly focus on group walks of up to five dogs, these walks are filled with play, sniffing and learning! So if you'd like your dog to join they must be sociable and have a strong recall. I am first aid trained and carry an emergency kit with me at all times, keeping your dogs safe and happy is my number one priority! These are almost fully booked, so get in touch to see if you're dog is eligible for a spot, or to add yourself to the waiting list 😊
Happily Ever After Wedding Package
At Pooch Parade we believe that dogs are part of the family, so its only natural to want them to be included in your wedding day! Pooch Parade is now offering fully bespoke and flexible wedding chaperone services so that you can have your beloved pooch involved in your special day. Expert care will be given to your pet to ensure they are calm and content during all the hustle and bustle of the day, they can be walked as often as suits them, fed and given a final spruce up with a brush so they are comfortable and looking their best in your wedding photos. We can arrange for them to be present at the wedding/ reception as little or as much as you would like. We will arrange a meet and greet to get to know your pooches and discuss what is required on the big day. You may also choose to have your pet cared for prior to or after the wedding, I provide a personal in home care service. Prices start from £200, this includes;
Meet and Greet to discuss your plans for the day
Collecting your pet on the day
Making sure your pet looks their best
Feeding, walking and playing with your pooch before and after the ceremony
Returning your pet home or to a relative/friend
Typically this is a 6 hour day ( extra hours £20)
Travel expenses are included within 20 miles of Solihull.
I don't like taking Morris to a cattery when i am away because it stresses him out alot. No matter how good it is there the transport, change of surroundings and routine upsets him. Pooch Parade offers a great solution for cats like Morris, Sam stays in our house and has information about his routine so he barely notices we have left, he loves Sam and is very comfortable. I quite often go away on weekends and Morris is a lot happier in general with this new arrangement! Thank you Pooch Parade!

Our Phoebe is a timid rescue dog who is wary of people but she loved Sam straight away. Dogs can always tell who to trust... and she certainly wasn't wrong about Sam. Phoebe just loves when Sam comes to visit.

Are you able to look after small animals, such as rabbits?
Absolutely! As well as owning small animals in the past myself, i have some experience from past job and volunteering roles with different domesticated animals, the rate is the same as cat sitting.
How will i know my pet is okay during my absence?
A line of communication will be open between us at all times, usually via text. I'll send you regular pupdates on how your pooch is getting on, let you know what they have been up to including pictures, some people like this more than others, so just let me know how often you'd like to be pupdated!
Does it cost more if i have more than one animal?
Yes, if you have multiple dogs in your household this will cost a little extra per animal, contact me for prices and services!
Do you just walk my dog and leave them straight away?
No, i want your pet to be as comfortable as possible when i leave. Any specific requirements you have such as fill their food and water bowl, wipe their feet, administer oral medication, practice a couple of tricks or put them to bed in a crate, I'm happy to spend ten minutes after their walk doing that. We can arrange the requirements regularly or change them to suit your pet on that particular visit.
